Our Services

We understand that embarking on a smart home installation can be a little daunting but we are here to make the process as simple and straightforward as possible. We don’t have sales targets and will give you as much time as you need to feel confident that the smart home system you end up with provides everything you expected.

Consultation & Design

We’ll work with you to understand what features you want from your smart home and what your specific requirements are, and whether you have a budget in mind. This will give us a broad understanding of the type of installation that would work best for you. At this stage there are likely to be many questions but we will work with you to explore the options including a series of question and answer templates of the most common questions, either by phone or email. We find this approach works really well as it often allows clients to look at options they had not considered before and also focuses on features rather than specific equipment. If you have plans and/or electrical layouts for your home we will also review these as part of this initial discovery and requirements setting phase.

Once we have an understanding of your requirements we will start to develop the outline design of your smart home system, incorporating the features that are important to you. At this stage we will provide you with a project proposal and initial estimate for you to consider. Following your agreement, we will begin the more detailed design phase which will include wiring layouts and equipment schedules and, where necessary will discuss the installation with your builder and/or electrician.

Build, Install & Commission

Once you’re happy with the design and estimated costs set out in our project proposal, we will source the equipment and begin building the control panel. Depending on the complexity of the installation this may take some time but we will always include an estimate of the panel build time within our project proposal.

Equipment requiring installation within your home will be despatched to you for your builder and/or electrician to install. We will provide full wiring instructions. At a time agreed with you, we will arrange for the fully built and tested control panel to be delivered to site for final installation and connection.

If you have asked us to programme and configure your smart home system then we will do this as part of the panel build process and commission the system on site. When commissioned we will demonstrate the features of your system and supply you with system documentation and information.

Aftercare & Support

Our overall aim is always to provide high levels of service to all our clients, and we will support you during the first year including email or telephone support for general enquiries about your system. We can also offer support for re-programming features via remote access to your system.

If we commission your system then we will provide additional aftercare services during the first year which will include investigating faults with your system and, if necessary, replacing any defective components. Full details of our aftercare support options will be included in our project proposal.

Even after the first year we will be happy to provide you with ongoing ad-hoc advice about your system or any upgrades or enhancements you might be considering.

Existing System Support

If you have an existing Loxone system but are finding it isn't doing what you expect or have moved into a home with Loxone and don't know where to start, then we can offer support to help you get the most from your Loxone system.

We can review your system hardware and software configuration, investigate any specific problems you're having and advise on a solution. Some of this may not even require a site visit and initial advice is free.
